We changed over to Alsco about two years ago. I think it may have been the best decision I've made regarding our suppliers. The difference was chalk and cheese. Truly, dealing with Alsco has been like a breath of fresh air.

During the proposal stage, we did our homework. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we could validate everything Alsco said about themselves.

I thought, if they can actually deliver on their promises, that will certainly set them apart from the others. And they did. In fact, they exceeded our expectations.

Alsco is so pro-active in anticipating our needs and dealing with issues, it rarely gets to a stage when I need to be involved or even know about it. Which is fantastic. It means one less thing to think about in my day. Now that's what I call a refreshing change.

We've been with Alsco for about seven years and find them to be a very reliable partner. When I think of our relationship, service excellence stands out in my mind. They have a full package wrapped around our uniform service, down to supplying the employee cupboards for the garments.

When you need someone, they always seem to be available. Our rep could be on holidays and he will still call me back and help us. That's certainly a refreshing change in a service supplier.

We have been expanding globally and Alsco has been right there with us. It's great to be able to keep one supplier that we trust servicing all of our locations. They still manage to run things site by site and integrate the different needs of each location. And because of their network, they can keep transportation costs to a minimum and give us faster service. They're very good value for money. I see Alsco as big business capabilities with a small business mentality and personalised service. That's a great fit for us.

Organic Recycling Business, Victoria

Alsco has been a service provider to an organic recycling business processing bi-products from the meat and associated industries in Victoria for many years.

Midway through 2002 their laundry requirements were subjected to an extensive tendering process where every element of their site's requirements was re-examined. Alsco was selected as the successful service provider.

As a result of the tender process high visibility garments and a fully managed garment service was introduced, servicing all of the production maintenance and production management staff.

The change process was managed well by the Alsco team involved, not saying it was without teething problems. According to the customer the rewarding element of dealing with Alsco was the way in which the problems were managed and resolved.

Eighteen months down the track the company would have no hesitation in recommending Alsco and the team of service personnel to anyone contemplating a managed garment system. The company now has a totally invisible, professionally managed system with open channels of communication at all levels.

Wholesale Bakery

A wholesale bakery, supplying major supermarkets around Australia, has worked with Alsco since the late 1980s.

They have found Alsco to be very diligent with the correct number of stock and with maintaining garment quality.

The company had a quality assurance programme - HACCP require all supplies to conform to their standards. Alsco is one of the only HACCP accredited laundries available and they look forward to a continuing working relationship and recommend Alsco to companies thinking of using our services.
