HACCP is a food safety management system which focuses on prevention strategies required to eliminate or reduce the impact of known hazards (risks) that occur at specific points in the food production process.

During 2018 and 2019 Alsco undertook to have all states HACCP accredited. This was completed by the end of October 2019.

All our branches worked extremely hard to achieve this accreditation, and the improvements made mean our food industry customers can be assured that our products meet food industry hygiene standards.

Our staff have been trained to understand the concept of HACCP. We now have a good level of hygiene in the branches which works in conjunction with our Lean and 5S teams.

Being HACCP accredited will ensure that our customers and our community have the very best quality product and our staff can enjoy a safe, hygienic working environment.

A big thank you to everyone who assisted in achieving the HACCP accreditation. Going forward we will ensure we maintain the high level reached.
